Tru Vers To Release CD and DVD For New Album

Tru Vers, whose given name is Jake Barnhill, is a music artist, actor, director, and screenwriter from Omaha, Nebraska. He began his music career at the age of 12 as an escape from personal struggles and has since developed his sound and brand with the help of mentors, Couhustlehard and Luke Reelfs. Tru Vers’ goal is to connect with his fans and bridge the gap between music and film, inspiring and entertaining his listeners.

He is most proud of his project “Youth,” which is a combination of an album and a film that tells the story of a hopeless romantic. The album narrates the entire storyline and is currently out on all digital streaming platforms as well as CD and soon to be on DVD.

With this release, Tru Vers wants his listeners to know that they are not alone and that everyone is either going into or coming out of a battle. He likes to take inspiration from artists like Drake, Eminem, blink-182, Kid Cudi, and KYLE to really bring his music to life.
