Elgin’s music is giving us nostalgic feels

Read Time:1 Minute, 28 Second

We came across Elgin while searching through indie artists over at This Is 50. They described him as a blend of Daft Punk and The Weeknd. A blend of the old and the new. They hit the nail on the head.

His new song “Broken Hearted” is an immediate earworm. It’s a song you can turn up to, get romantic too, or just kick it and vibe out and relax at a pool party. This boy is doing something extremely right and we are here for it.

When we asked Elgin about the process of making this song he said “The track just flew out of me. I started humming the melody and the lyrics came right away. Of course it was from a real experience which is why I think it was so palpable and easy to translate from feeling to words. I

hope people who have had difficult relationships and want to rise above it can relate to this track.”

Elgin already has one song that is starting to go viral on Spotify. His song “Dreaming” is blowing up on the Discover Weekly Spotify algorithmic playlist. This is the same playlist that has cemented many hit songs for artists such as 53 Thieves, Tory Lanez, and many many more.

We are excited to see what Elgin does next, we have no doubt the music will be fire and there’s really no telling how high his star could rise. We will be watching, supporting, and sending him the best vibes for an incredible career full of longevity and success.
